Oldbury Wells students will be taking to the stage again to raise the roof with a sophisticated two-night showcase of vocal and instrumental performances and drama sketches entitled Cabaret on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March 2017 at 7pm in the West Hall. Students in Mrs Laurie’s Textiles Enterprise Club made £86 profit from the sale of the Christmas decorations they made. Oldbury Wells Sixth Form Art and Design students worked with Marvel cover illustrator Mike Fyles last week on an exciting project involving local primary schools which is to be launched next week. The students studied Mike’s work, gaining an understanding of the history of comic book design and developed practical work devising thumbnail ideas, layouts and designs in traditional and digital media.
